Dr Louise Ellis

BIOGRAPHY

Louise Ellis is a Research Fellow in Implementation Science at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University. She works within the PCHSS on issues relating to health system sustainability, using a complexity and implementation science lens to approach issues of quality and safety in the delivery of healthcare. Her specific research areas of expertise include mental health services and systems, implementation science and complexity science approaches.

In her earlier work, Dr Ellis played a lead role in developing and implementing new evidence-based online mental health programs in Australia and internationally. To extend this work, Dr Ellis is now leading the field in advancing understanding of program implementation and the translation of evidence into practice within healthcare more broadly using the latest implementation and complexity science approaches.
