Dr Trent Yeend

BIOGRAPHY

Dr Trent Yeend is a mathematician with over a decade experience in policy development and data analytics within the public health sector. At the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority, Trent has been responsible for foundational work in health-related classification systems and the pricing of public hospital services for activity-based funding.

Previously at the Commonwealth Department of Health, Trent’s expertise were focused on geospatial and economic modelling of policies across primary care, acute care, health workforce and aged care. Early in his career, Trent was a mathematics lecturer and research academic.
